Hello readers
My name is Belim Karima, and I am a student of B.A. Sem-2, English Department at Government Arts College, Talaja. Today, I would like to share my thoughts on the topic “Vernacular Innovation and Problem-Solving Skills.” This topic highlights how simple ideas, local language, and practical thinking can create effective solutions for real-life problems and empower society at the grassroots level.
During this session, we had the opportunity to attend lectures by various experts, which were highly informative and inspiring.
Now let's begin
In the first lecture, Dr. Vishal Joshi Sir clearly explained the meaning of innovation and vernacular. During his lecture, he showed a video in which dry fruits were innovatively arranged in a round form. This helped us understand that even ordinary things can become unique with creative thinking.
In the second lecture, Mr. Jignesh Vaghela Sir taught us how to prepare a resume and CV. He explained what is most important in a resume and also informed us about useful websites related to career development.
In the third lecture, Dr. K. P. Kandoriya Sir delivered a life-based lecture on problem-solving skills. This session helped us understand how to approach problems positively and find effective solutions.
In the fourth lecture, Mr. Jignesh Vaghela Sir once again interacted with us by asking UPSC-related questions. This session was very thought-provoking and meaningful.
Later, Dr. Dwani Madam delivered a highly impactful lecture on communication skills. Her lecture gave me the confidence and courage to speak on this stage today.
In the following session, Dr. Bhoutik Sir explained ideation techniques. He made problem-solving easy and clear by explaining the three steps: What, Who, and Why.
After that, Dr. Janak Vaki Sir delivered a lecture on ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility in innovation. Through the example of Mansukhbhai Prajapati, who created a refrigerator made of clay and received a national award, he helped us understand ethics, sustainability, and our responsibility towards society as students.
In the 4 day, Dr. Dilip Jani Sir delivered an inspiring lecture on creative development techniques. From his lecture, we learned that having an idea is not enough; it is equally important to develop it and confidently present it to society.
On the last day of the session, Dr. Pratik Gohil Sir visited us and explained the importance of the B.A. degree. He also guided us on how students can earn money along with their studies, which was very helpful and motivating.
In the concluding session of the Innovative Club, Mr. Rushikumar Dave Sir from ITI College, Talaja visited us. He provided valuable information about education, and his topic was “Skill Development and Career.” His lecture helped us understand the importance of skills in building a successful and secure career.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Vernacular, Innovation, and Problem-Solving Skills program was a very enriching learning experience for all of us. Through these sessions, we gained practical knowledge, confidence, and a new way of thinking. The guidance from experienced speakers helped us understand the importance of creativity, communication, ethics, and skill development in real life. This program not only enhanced our academic learning but also prepared us to face future challenges with confidence. I sincerely thank Government Arts College, Talaja, and all the respected resource persons for organizing such a meaningful and informative program.
